Could you be the one were looking for to take the first step on your Futures journey as our very first Procurement Apprentice on an initial 15 month fixed term contract. Please note that Apprenticeship start salaries are age dependent and may vary accordingly.Youll be part of a supported, knowledgeable and proactive team wholl be there to guide you as you assist with procurement administration, contract support, supplier onboarding and procurement compliance processes, while gaining experience in line with core competences of professional procurement practice.Youll be organisedand youll need those great communication/attention to detail skills of yours.
Youll also be comfortable with numbers, accurate and have a passion for data which will be valuable as you progress with your learning in this great opportunity to enter the world of procurement.A few key points from our role profile:Gain proficiency in software platforms including MS Excel, Word, and procurement systems (e.g., Procurement Portals, Orchard).Attend in-house and online training aligned with public sector procurement and compliance.Build confidence in supporting and interacting with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the wider procurement team.What well do for youIf youre successful, youll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture.
