We are on the hunt for a Plumber to join our high performing Repairs Team based in Leabrooks. You’ll be part of a growing Repairs Team, visiting customers' homes and carrying out a range of plumbing repair and replacement works, including multi-skilled work such as gutter repairs and making good while demonstrating your eye for detail and excellent standards.
At interview, you’ll need to show us your full clean driving licence and in order to be considered you’ll need to have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating. You’ll have use of one of our company vans, visiting our customers' homes, fixing various issues and taking pride in a job well done, knowing that you’ve made a real difference to our customers.
- To carry out a range of plumbing repair and replacement works including multi-skilled work such as repairing gutters and making good to areas when disturbed by installations, in and around domestic properties.
- Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHGs Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
- Maintain effective communication with the supervisory/administration and management staff passing on information, concerns, and problems regarding any jobs.
- Attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work or contact tenants directly to make access arrangements.
- Work flexibly to enable repairs to be carried out at times arranged with the customer.
- To be aware of and comply with the relevant risk assessments, hazards, and control measures to be used.

Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon - Thurs 8:00am till 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am till 3:30pm with 30 minutes break for lunch, paid monthly. You’ll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days holiday at Christmas.
