We’re really proud of our Repairs Team and their commitment to our customers and we’re now on the hunt for a special person to join the team as Plasterer.
You’ll find with us the perfect platform to showcase your high-quality work and the skills you’ve gained in your career so far in the building maintenance and construction industry. You’ll be a great communicator as you’ll liaise with customers and Work Planners to ensure the high standard of plastering in our homes.
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds of equivalent in Plastering.
- Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety issues relating to repairs & maintenance & construction trades.
- A full UK driving licence.
You’ll have access to one of our company vans for visiting homes and you’ll love the variety this role brings. Above all, you’ll take pride in a job well done, knowing that you’ve made a real difference to our customers.
Role highlights
- Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHG’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
- Maintain effective communication with the Supervisory/administration and management staff passing on information, concerns, and problems regarding any job.
- Attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work or contact customers directly to make access arrangements.

Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon - Thurs 8:00am till 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am till 3:30pm with 30 minutes break for lunch, paid monthly. You will also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days holiday at Christmas.
