We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team and help shape the financial insight that underpins our services. Are you ready to join us in delivering our vision of “Providing quality homes and services for better futures”?
In this role, you’ll work closely with directors, heads of service and operational teams, providing clear, practical financial insight that supports confident decision making across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and performance management, helping teams understand financial risks, trends and opportunities, and ensuring we continue to deliver value for money while remaining financially sustainable.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, you’ll translate complex financial information into plain English, offer constructive challenge, and support continuous improvement. You’ll also contribute to business cases, efficiency reviews and ad‑hoc analysis that helps Futures make informed choices for our customers and communities.
Your strong analytical skills, commercial mindset and ability to build trusted relationships will really shine in this role.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to directors, heads of service and operational managers
- Provide robust financial analysis, modelling and scenario planning
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and year‑end results
- Monitor financial performance, identifying variances, trends and risks
- Contribute to value‑for‑money initiatives, efficiency reviews and benchmarking
