Overview

Futures Housing Group is a values‑led, not‑for‑profit housing association with a strong social purpose. For almost 20 years, we’ve been providing homes and services that support people and communities to thrive across the East Midlands. With more than 10,700 homes stretching from Derbyshire to Daventry and beyond, we are proud of the difference we make. We don’t just provide homes – we support customers and the communities they live in to thrive. Our purpose is to create a safe, secure and inclusive environment where our customers can thrive, and this is where you come in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Housing in the delivery of an effective community engagement strategy.
  • Support the Head of Customer Experience with the development of FHG’s tenancy support offer, identifying partnerships and funding opportunities to enhance existing service, ensuring positive outcomes for customers.
  • Support the Director of Housing in implementing new projects and developing innovative ways to achieve the objectives within our corporate plan and meeting the requirements of the Regulatory Consumer Standards, Awaabs Law and HHSRS and any other regulatory or legislative requirements that arise.
  • Support the Communities Manager with the management of the communities Team Leaders, including providing competent technical advice and supporting decision making to ensure that the most appropriate enforcement action is being considered and taken on anti‑social behaviour cases and other breaches of tenancy agreements and lease conditions.
  • Lead and develop the Communities service, ensuring the best use of housing stock and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Asset Management and Development teams in relation to the Asset Maximisation Programme.

Qualifications & Experience

You’ve probably worked in a senior housing and communities role so far, as first and foremost you’ll be someone who has a passion for housing. You’ll need to be forward‑thinking, thrive on challenge while leading with integrity, and a manager whose coaching methods really do get the best out of the team. Experience collaborating with partners will serve you well as you represent Futures Housing Group at relevant partnership meetings across the Group.

What We’ll Do For You

If you’re successful, you’ll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing and inclusive culture. We offer a state‑of‑the‑art workplace, competitive benefits that include private healthcare options, mileage, a fantastic pension scheme, discount schemes and a big emphasis on health and well‑being. Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon – Fri, paid monthly. We also offer great flexibility around business needs. You’ll also have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive.
