Great with money advice and even better with people? We're looking for two Money Management Officers, each working 24 hours per week, to provide practical, personalised support that helps our customers take control of their finances, maximise their income and sustain their tenancy. This is a varied, customer-focused role where you'll support people in their homes, in the community, over the phone and digitally, adapting your approach to suit their needs. You'll be a confident and compassionate communicator who can build trust with customers, including those who may be experiencing difficult or sensitive circumstances. You'll take a calm, practical and non-judgemental approach, helping people explore their options and make informed decisions. Your background in housing, benefits advice or financial services would be particularly useful. An IMA qualification is preferable but not a dealbreaker, and we'd also welcome a Level 3 CIH qualification. A few key points of the role: Providing tailored budgeting advice and financial assessments Helping customers maximise their income by supporting applications for benefits, grants and discretionary payments Working with customers to create achievable financial development plans Supporting customers to manage priority and non-priority debts and agree affordable repayment arrangements Negotiating with creditors and other organisations on a customer's behalf where needed Working closely with our Income Officers and partner agencies to help prevent arrears and promote financial stability Sounds like me, so what are you offering? If you're successful, you'll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include private healthcare options, discount schemes and with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You'll have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you're helping people and communities across our region to thrive. Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon - Fri, paid monthly. You'll get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days holiday at Christmas.
