We’re on the hunt for a special someone to hit the ground running in support of our Independent Living Schemes as part of our Communities Service, on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You’ll assist in the delivery of a broad range of services to some of our most vulnerable customers across our Daventry district, using your practical knowledge and problem-solving to provide a customer-focussed approach. You’ll be looking for real variety in your role; interacting with our customers, external agencies and partners, your team and the wider business, as well as signposting customers to appropriate support services. You’ll also be looking for a challenge which will put your knowledge of housing law and customer focus to excellent use when dealing with anti-social behaviour, tenancy issues, property viewings and sign-ups with new customers.

  • Signpost customers to FHG tenancy support team for money advice and/or other third-party agency support where appropriate.
  • Consult with customers regarding any proposed works on schemes, ensure customers views are taken into consideration and encourage customers to engage with all activities which may affect their home.
  • Liaise with the Communities Team where action is required and in response to unacceptable and anti-social behaviour which is impacting on the wider community.
  • Support Community Housing Officers in collating evidence to support any necessary action as required.
  • Promote community engagement activities by supporting community groups and events in communal areas/centres.
  • Programme and install any enhanced or upgraded Telecare or Assistive Technology for Futures’ customers.
  • Attend any faulty Telecare equipment as and when required during normal working hours across the Group.
