We are looking for a General Operative to join our friendly Grounds Maintenance Team on an 8 month Fixed Term Contract, helping to keep our communities looking their best, whatever the season.

What you'll need:

  • Grass cutting and shrub bed management skills.
  • Confidence using grounds maintenance plant and equipment and following safe working practices.
  • A practical, can-do attitude and enjoyment of outdoor work in all types of UK weather.
  • A full UK driving licence.

What you'll be doing:

  • Grounds maintenance duties, including grass cutting and shrub bed management.
  • Operating and maintaining equipment safely, including ride-on and pedestrian mowers, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, powered blowers (backpack/handheld) and rotavator.
  • Using specialist equipment where trained/competent, such as chainsaw.
