At Futures we're committed to providing our customers with the best service possible on our mission to deliver Great Places, Great Services and Great Tomorrows. We are on the hunt for a Plumber Gas Engineer to join our awesome Repairs Team.
Our Work Planners will coordinate your diary, so you and the rest of the Repairs Team can be out there working together, putting our customer first.
To be considered you'll need to have:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, gas or heating (or equivalent)
- Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1 or equivalent) (servicing of central heating, cookers, fires, meters, and flue analysing)
- LPG (desirable)
- Full driving licence
You’ll have use of one of our company vans visiting our customers' homes, fixing various plumbing/gas repairs including diagnosing boiler faults and fixing them or replacing boilers as part of our planned programme. You’ll take pride in a job well done, knowing that you've made a real difference.
A few key points from our role profile:
- Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHGs Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
- Maintain effective communication with the Supervisory/administration and management staff passing on information, concerns and problems with regard to any jobs.
- Attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work or contact tenants directly to make access arrangements.
- Work flexibly to enable repairs to be carried out at times arranged with the customer.

Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon - Thurs 8:00am till 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am till 3:30pm with 30 minutes break for lunch, paid monthly. You'll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days holiday at Christmas.
