Are you ready to take your knowledge of Data Protection and apply it in an area that impacts us all daily as we’re looking for a special someone to pick up the reins for 8 months maternity cover. Ideally commencing end of June.
You’ll definitely be looking for variety in your next role, no two days are the same as you collaborate across the group delivering improvements and securing compliance, lead on dispute resolution, complete investigations and coordinate Subject Access Requests to name just a few!
You’ll be delivering training that engages your audience keeping the GDPR message alive. Researching and responding to team member queries as well as reporting regularly to the business.
Your communication skills will be a great asset as you’ll know how to get the message across whether on Facebook or talking to people you don’t know. This role will truly have you working in partnership with the whole business.
A few key points from our role profile:
- Work with the Group’s Lead Data Protection Officer to ensure the group has an understanding and awareness of the requirements of data and information handling to achieve compliance and meet the Group’s operating standards, including the requirements of UK GDPR.
- Support the Group’s Lead Data Protection Officer with accurate corporate reporting and incident management.
- Deputising for the Lead Data Protection Officer in periods of absence
- Making factual and accurate reports to the ICO in a timely fashion
- Assist with the development of policies, procedures and guidance according to the compliance, UK GDPR and industry best standards.
- Conduct data mapping exercises and Privacy Impact Assessments, ensuring the privacy risks identified are collated, assessed and action plans are put in place.
