You will have variety in this role as your duties will include both external and internal painting and decorating works including the treatment and restoration of areas affected by damp and mould.
To be considered, you will need a recognised formal apprenticeship qualification (or equivalent), such as a City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in painting. You will be able to demonstrate your talent and the skills gained in similar roles, along with a working knowledge and understanding of health & safety and COSHH legislation. Your full UK (manual) driving licence is essential as you will have use of a company van, complying with the standard requirements of our company insurers.
- Undertake the internal and external decoration to properties and associated areas i.e. void property redecoration, occupied property external decoration, communal areas, community centres etc.
- Attend damp, mould and condensation (DMC) jobs and treat affected areas with wash and sterilisation treatment, redecorate with paint with fungicidal additive, and anti-condensation coating if required.
