Curious, organised and ready to start your career in HR? We’re looking for a Business Administration Apprentice – Systems & Data to join our friendly and proactive People Team. If you’re organised and curious about how HR systems, employee data and good administration support people across our organisation, this could be a great place to start. You don’t need to know it all already, just bring a positive attitude, reliability and an open mind.

You’ll keep employee information accurate, secure and up to date, while learning how HR processes, systems and people data support colleagues helping ensure they have a smooth, accurate and supportive experience while supporting the organisation to make better decisions.

As part of the role, you’ll learn how to:

  • Assist with HR administration, system tasks and data checks
  • Help produce people reports, HR information packs and simple summaries
  • Contribute to HR audit information, compliance checks and routine data returns
  • Support colleagues with HR system queries and guidance
  • Spot errors, gaps or things that do not look quite right
  • Handle confidential information carefully and professionally

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll need:

  • You don’t need years of experience, just the right attitude and a genuine interest in HR, systems and data.
  • Have good attention to detail and enjoy keeping things organised
  • Be comfortable using IT, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams and willing to develop these skills
  • Be able to follow instructions and processes while communicating clearly and professionally
  • Be able to understand the importance of confidentiality
  • Be open to learning, feedback and solving problems in a logical, step‑by‑step way
  • Have GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills and be committed to completing the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship programme
