Futures Housing Group is offering a 48‑month Painter Decorator Apprenticeship within the repairs team.
Location: Leabrooks Repairs Depot, Crays Hill, DE55 1LN.
Responsibilities:
- Mentored by professional tradespeople committed to giving you the best possible start in your career.
- Learn both the technical aspects of painting and decorating and how to put customers at the heart of everything you do.
- Show pride in your work and attention to detail, delivering high‑quality service during repairs and maintenance.
- Perform a variety of general repairs and maintenance tasks as part of the repairs team.
Qualifications:
- Safety aware, detail focused, and motivated to succeed in a role where no two days are the same.
- Full UK driving licence or progress towards one.
- Level 1 functional skills in Maths and English or GCSE equivalent.
Working hours & Compensation:
- 37 hours per week: Mondays‑Thursday 07:30/08:00 am to 3:30/4:00 pm; Fridays 07:30/08:00 am to 3:00/3:30 pm, with a 30‑minute lunch break.
- Paid monthly.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and concessionary days at Christmas.
