We are looking for a Joiner to join our supportive Repairs Team based in Leabrooks. If you're looking for a new challenge with an ambitious organisation, come and help us deliver our vision of providing quality homes and services for better futures.
This is a great opportunity to use your building maintenance and construction background in a hands-on role. You'll work with the team on joinery repairs and replacements, delivering a polished, tidy finish in and around customers' homes. You'll take pride in high-quality workmanship and be friendly and helpful, just what's needed when working in our customers' homes.
You’ll need to have:
- NVQ level 2/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in joinery or carpentry
- Knowledge and skills to carry out a range of carpentry and joinery works as your main trade
- Skills across other trades (desirable)
- Able to work on your own initiative (including lone working) and take responsibility for health and safety
- A full UK driving licence (company van provided)

- Carry out a range of joinery repair and replacement works (plus some multi-skilled tasks) in and around domestic properties
- Work safely and minimise disruption to customers, following agreed methods of working and relevant safety requirements
- Keep in touch with supervisors and support teams, sharing updates and raising any issues early
- Attend pre-arranged appointments and void jobs, and contact customers to agree access where needed
Your weekly hours are 37: Monday to Thursday 8:00am, 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. You’ll be paid monthly and you’ll get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, as well as concessionary leave over Christmas.
