The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

We are seeking assistants to assist in great crested newt (GCN) and dusk bat surveys on a variety of sites across Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and beyond. There may also be scope to assist on other ecological surveys if interest is shown.

What we’re looking for:

  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility in availability (with a focus on evening work)
  • Your own car (with a clean driving license)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Species ID knowledge is welcomed, but not essential as on-the-job training will be given

The rate of pay will be £70 per dusk survey (up to 5 hours) and £12.71 per hour thereafter / for daytime hours (mileage paid to site from our office).
