We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a precision engineering/manufacturing business, supporting quality activities across both production and inspection. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being close to the product and manufacturing process. Alongside core Quality Engineering responsibilities, you will spend a proportion of your time inspecting precision-engineered components, interpreting engineering drawings and verifying that manufactured parts meet the required dimensional and quality standards. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality teams, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving product quality while supporting the inspection and release of precision-engineered components. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of precision-engineered components. Using a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) as part of component inspection and verification. Using conventional inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
