We are recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to support schools on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible.
You will work closely with school leaders and managers, providing practical HR advice and supporting effective people management across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice on employee relations, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
- Support leaders with workforce planning, recruitment and retention.
- Coach managers to handle people matters confidently and consistently.
- Support organisational change and the implementation of HR policies.
- Promote staff wellbeing and positive working relationships.
- Help ensure HR practices reflect employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.
The ideal candidate
- Experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar advisory role.
- Previous experience working in a Multi Academy Trust or School
- Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
- The ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and managers.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within education or a multi-site organisation would be advantageous.
