The opportunity: Futureheads has exclusively partnered with a consumer business with a strong e‑commerce and subscription focus and 500,000 subscribers to hire a Senior Digital Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional digital initiatives across web, mobile, and core operational platforms.
You’ll sit at the heart of a high‑growth consumer business operating across multiple markets and channels (direct‑to‑consumer and wholesale). The digital and operations teams are scaling, new product lines are being launched, and the business is investing heavily in upgrading core systems (ERP, finance, WMS and other operational platforms).
This is a role that has grown in complexity; over time you’ll also line‑manage two more junior project managers, setting the bar for delivery standards and ways of working.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading digital projects from concept through to launch and post‑implementation review, across web, mobile, and internal tools.
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, operations, data, finance and leadership) to keep scope, timelines and outcomes aligned.
- Managing day‑to‑day project delivery: plans, RAID logs, status reporting, stakeholder updates and decision tracking.
- Owning and evolving project/process tools (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet and other workflow platforms) so teams can work efficiently and transparently.
- Driving systems and data integration work, particularly around PIM, WMS, ERP and financial systems.
What we’re looking for:
- Significant experience (c. 8 years) in project management, with strong exposure to digital and e‑commerce environments - subscriptions is a huge plus.
- A proven track record delivering complex system integration projects (PIM, WMS, ERP, finance or similar).
- Hands‑on experience with modern project management tools and collaboration platforms, with a bias towards Jira or similar.
- Background in agile, product‑led businesses, ideally around the ~$500m revenue mark or comparable scale.
- Comfortable operating with multiple senior stakeholders, across both technical and non‑technical teams, in a fast‑moving environment.
- Confident communicator – able to challenge, influence, and keep projects moving without being overly “soft” when things need to change.
- Open to candidates from in‑house or agency backgrounds, as long as you can demonstrate clear ownership of delivery and stakeholder management.
- Curiosity about new tools and approaches (including AI‑driven process and workflow tools), and the willingness to research and bring ideas back to the team.
Practical details:
- Compensation: Approx. $140k–$150k base ~10% bonus, plus benefits.
- PTO 401K
- Location: Remote, working US East Coast hours (9am–6pm ET).
