Performance Analyst/Data Analyst

Contract | Up to Β£350 per day | Active SC Clearance Required

We're supporting a major public sector organisation on the search for an experiencedPerformance Analystto join a high-profile digital programme. This is an opportunity to work on services used at national scale, helping shape decision-making through data-driven insights and performance measurement.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining performance frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analysing service and product performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Designing and building dashboards and reporting solutions to support stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Presenting insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working closely with researchers, developers, testers and product teams to ensure data is used effectively across the service life cycle.
  • Supporting agile delivery teams by providing regular performance reporting and evidence-based recommendations.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in digital performance analysis and data visualisation.
  • Proven ability to create dashboards using tools such asPower BI, Tableau or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience withGoogle Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Splunk or similar platformswould be advantageous.

  • Rate:Up toΒ£350 per day

  • Travel:Likely attendance inNewcastle approximately once per month
