We’re recruiting for a leading UK tech consultancy who are hiring for an SC cleared interaction designer to join a public sector client project. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have recently worked on service standard assessed UK public sector projects and must be UK based with active SC clearance.

Candidates should have experience of:

  • Designing clear, usable, and accessible digital interfaces that work across devices and browsers.
  • Mapping user journeys and flows to identify pain points and improve service experiences.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, developers, and product managers, to deliver user-centred digital services.
  • Creating and testing prototypes, using feedback and user research to iterate on designs.
  • Conducting and supporting user research, including planning, observation, and analysis.
  • Ensuring designs meet Government Digital Service (GDS) standards for accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to gather requirements and align on design direction.
  • Reviewing data analytics to inform design decisions and improve service usability.
  • Documenting, communicating, and sharing design decisions within the internal design community.
