A people first consultancy is working with a fast-moving healthtech organisation looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead a critical delivery phase for a new healthcare app, working across private and public health systems. This is a short, intense contract for someone who can drop into a complex domain, make sense of messy inputs, and drive a proof of concept through to launch.
Contract Details:
- Start: Early January (ASAP preferred)
- Length: 3 months (January–March) with potential to extend
- Day rate: £600-£640 per day (outside IR35)
- Location: Remote (some UK/Ireland healthcare stakeholder timezones)
We need someone who has this specific domain and project experience. You must have worked taking a healthtech app from product market fit to customer launch in the UK; if you do not have the exact experience you will not be contacted or hear back.
The Project:
- Own product delivery for a patient-facing health app that brings together:
- Private healthcare journeys
- Irish public healthcare touchpoints
- Insurance and claims processes
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead end-to-end delivery for a critical product stream, turning business requirements into a clear, actionable product plan and backlog.
- Work closely with operations, clinical stakeholders and external advisors to quickly absorb domain knowledge across private care, cardiology pathways, and insurance flows.
- Coordinate with a third-party dev team to ensure scope, priorities and timelines are understood, realistic and focused on delivering a usable POC and then a robust launch.
- Connect multiple systems and journeys, including:
- Public health / national apps (e.g. NHS-style apps, EHR/EHS integrations)
- Hospital and clinic systems (EHR/ERP, including finance modules and queuing/workflow tools)
- Private medical insurance and claims processes (including Meditech-style integrations).
Experience We’re Looking For:
- Senior Product Manager with strong experience in:
- Private healthcare apps and/or digital care platforms.
- Public healthcare integrations (e.g. NHS-style apps, EHR/EHS, hospital ERP).
- Insurance and claims journeys, ideally including medical insurance and Meditech or similar systems.
