We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape customer-facing digital experiences for a global energy brand. You'll balance UX thinking, UI craft, and pragmatic research, building coherent journeys across a large digital estate (web-first with some mobile exposure). Expect data-rich workflows, collaborative delivery, and the chance to improve design foundations at scale. Your work will touch high-traffic customer journeys in a sector rapidly expanding its digital footprint (payments, rewards, EV charging, and convenience).
What you'll do:
- Translate complex problems into clear, testable flows—mapping journeys and refining information architecture for web experiences that scale.
- Design UI and interaction patterns (responsive web first; some mobile exposure) with strong typography, visual hierarchy, and micro-interactions.
- Prototype and validate: wireframes through high-fidelity UI; usability testing and quick research loops to de-risk decisions.
- Data-heavy UX: shape dashboards and analytical views so users get signal over noise—prioritised KPIs, sensible defaults, and clear actions.
- Design systems & accessibility: contribute to components, tokens, and usage guidance; design to WCAG 2.2 standards (focus visibility, touch target sizes, reduced drag gestures).
- Collaborate to ship: work closely with product owners, engineers, researchers, and copywriters; maintain momentum with crisp communication and reliable delivery.
What we're looking for:
- 5 years' experience in product design for complex web products.
- Strength in UI & Visual Design.
- Comfort across research methods, usability testing, and rapid validation.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and editorial/content partners.
- A pragmatic mindset: you can prioritise, ship, and iterate.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to mobile app patterns and platform conventions.
- Experience with data visualisation (dashboards, charts, graphing) and simplifying B2B SaaS workflows.
