Overview
Our client is a specialist consulting business that has been quietly developing an internal SaaS platform originally built to solve complex client problems. The product has now gained real traction, with multiple clients requesting access, and is evolving from an internal tool into a commercial product.
Where you come in
As the sole Product Designer, you’ll work end‑to‑end across the entire design process from research through to delivery. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering and consulting teams, bringing clarity and usability to complex, data‑heavy workflows. You’ll help take the platform to its next level: elevating the visual language, improving user journeys, and ensuring a consistent, accessible experience as new features roll out. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy and is confident owning design decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Leading user research to understand how consultants and clients interact with the product.
- Mapping user journeys and designing intuitive end‑to‑end workflows.
- Improving the look, feel, and overall craft of the product experience.
- Shaping interaction patterns for quantitative tools, analytical features, and data‑visualisation components.
- Bringing structure and simplicity to complex B2B SaaS journeys.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI for upcoming features.
- Embedding accessibility best practice across the platform.
- Collaborating with product and engineering to ship well‑thought‑out solutions.
- Establishing design principles and ways of working as the first designer on the team.
We’d love to speak to people who have:
- 5 years’ experience in Product Design.
- Confidence working autonomously or as a solo designer in a product setting.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, ideally with complex workflows or analytical tools.
- Practical experience in quantitative analysis tools, dashboards, graphing or data‑visualisation.
- A solid understanding of accessibility standards and design systems.
