Our client is investing significantly in their proprietary technology platform to support their next phase of growth. At the centre of this is their organisation design platform, which enables the analysis, vision and modelling of organisations.
They are now seeking a talented Business Development Manager to drive business development and partner with sector leaders to generate new opportunities. This role offers the chance to become an expert in a powerful platform with strong market potential, whilst working in a dynamic environment where you will shape the commercial strategy and deliver transformational outcomes for clients.
What you will be doing:
- Leading the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach and qualification through to negotiation and closing, ensuring a consistent and high-quality commercial experience.
- Partnering closely with leadership and sector teams to identify opportunities, shape propositions, and support major client conversations and pitches.
- Delivering high-impact product demos tailored to the needs, context, and language of senior client stakeholders.
- Shaping and refining the go-to-market approach, contributing to commercial strategy, positioning, pricing, and market messaging.
- Developing high-quality proposals and client materials, articulating strategic value within broader organisational design or transformation programmes.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline, effectively managing forecasting, follow-ups, and CRM accuracy to support decision-making.
- Representing the platform in client meetings, workshops, and events, acting as a credible, trusted advisor on how it can unlock value.
- Collaborating with consulting teams to embed the platform in client delivery, ensuring smooth handover from sales to implementation.
- Leading feedback loops with the product team, synthesising insights from client conversations and market trends to inform the product roadmap.
- Supporting onboarding and early-stage adoption for new client organisations, ensuring users get value quickly and confidently.
- Contributing to the development of sales assets, including case studies, demo scripts, messaging frameworks, and best-practice processes.
About you:
- 5 years' experience in product sales, business development, SaaS sales, or a commercial role within a technology or consulting environment.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end sales cycles from initial outreach through to closing.
- Strong experience delivering compelling product demos and tailoring value propositions to senior stakeholders.
- Confident advising clients on digital tools and translating complex requirements into clear solutions.
- Skilled in managing a pipeline, forecasting opportunities, and maintaining accurate CRM data.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with partners, senior consultants, and external decision-makers.
- Exceptional communication skills, with ability to create persuasive proposals and articulate a strategic narrative.
- Comfortable working in an evolving product environment, shaping go-to-market approaches and feeding insights into product development.
- Experience selling HR technology, enterprise software, modelling tools, or analytics platforms (desirable).
- Background in consulting, organisational design, or professional services sales (desirable).
- Experience shaping commercial strategies, pricing discussions, and partnership models (desirable).
- Knowledge of SaaS metrics and product-led growth approaches (desirable).
