We're looking for a Business Analyst to join a respected consultancy team delivering meaningful work across central government. You'll be based in one of their hubs, for three days a week, working closely with multidisciplinary teams on a high-profile digital service, focused on shaping and improving a citizen-facing product in a complex public sector setting.
Essential Requirements
- Recent (within the past 2 years) experience as a Business Analyst within UK central government
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working closely with digital and technical teams
- Able to build effective relationships across multi‑functional teams
- Right to work in the UK
The role involves
- Translating business and user needs into clear, detailed requirements.
- Leading workshops, interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder sessions.
- Supporting agile delivery through strong analysis, documentation, and prioritisation.
- Defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Working closely with technical and business stakeholders to maintain alignment.
- Identifying process improvements and helping shape practical solutions.
- Supporting the production of business cases and cost-benefit analysis where required.
