Junior Software developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer to join a leader in compliance SaaS as they build the next generation of their platform.

Role focus:

1. Writing PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, and SQL to add and maintain features
2. Designing and building REST APIs
3. Writing unit and feature tests
4. Debugging, investigating logs, and supporting the software team
5. Promoting a culture of quality

To be considered, you will need to demonstrate:

• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript
• Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries
• Ability to write CSS/SCSS
• Understanding of REST, HTTP methods, and web security principles
• Experience reviewing code and writing tests

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization technologies
• Experience with Zend/Laminas frameworks

This is a hybrid role based four days onsite in Central London.

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
