This is for someone who wants to be right in the middle of that change: simplifying global payments and multiācurrency accounts for business customers, while helping the company move from "solid legacy player" to truly productāled.
What you'll be doing
- Own key parts of a B2B payments and multiācurrency platform, across accounts, payments, fees, transactions and internal tools used by clients, partners and ops/compliance teams.
- Turn messy, realāworld requirements from commercial, operations, compliance and banking partners into a clear backlog, with sharp user stories and priorities.
- Run proper discovery: talk to users, look at the data, test ideas, and make sure what gets built actually solves problems.
- Lead an agile squad day to day ā planning, reviews, retros ā working closely with engineering and design to ship small, valuable increments rather than bigābang projects.
- Keep an eye on the numbers: track adoption, conversion and friction points, and use those insights to drive the next set of improvements.
What makes this team different
- You'll report into a topātier Head of Product who knows payments insideāout and will genuinely invest in your growth.
- You're surrounded by bright people across tech, risk, ops and commercial who enjoy healthy debate and high standards.
- The company has deep expertise and trust in the payments space, but the mindset now is: "how do we rebuild and scale this as a modern platform?" ā so your ideas will actually matter.
What we're looking for
- 2ā4 years as a Product Owner / Product Manager in payments - This is a must - you have to work in payments (no one who does not have this experience will be contacted). Bonus points if it is a small- mid-size payments company.
- Comfortable in agile environments: you've owned a backlog, worked with tools like Jira/Notion, and know how to balance speed with quality and compliance.
- Exposure to payments and banking (international payments, multiācurrency accounts, maybe SWIFT/SEPA, partner banks) plus familiarity with APIs and regulatory constraints.
- Strong analytical chops, curiosity and drive ā you ask "why?", you care about impact, and you want to get better at your craft.
- Clear communicator who can talk to engineers, ops, sales and leadership without jargon or drama, and who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
If you're hungry to grow under strong product leadership, enjoy getting into the detail of payments, and want to help modernise a trusted player in the space, this is a very good place to do it.
