A growing market research consultancy supporting leading global brands is seeking an experienced Senior Research Consultant. The organisation is committed to closing the gap between insight and application, delivering research that is truly actionable and client-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of a wide range of research projects, with a particular focus on brand tracking initiatives
- Take ownership of project scoping, research methodology, reporting and managing client relationships
- Manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring expectations are met
- Apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative research techniques including interviews, focus groups, online studies, and data analysis
- Identify new business opportunities with both new and existing clients and contribute to capability development within the team
- Plan and oversee resources and financial budgets for insight projects
- Produce high quality research reports with actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders
- Remain current with research methods, industry trends and relevant policy developments
Experience and Skills Required
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience in market research
- Proven record delivering research projects, especially brand trackers, to tight deadlines
- Skilled at interrogating and interpreting datasets and presenting results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Confident writing objective, accessible reports for different readerships
- Experience in designing questionnaires, topic guides and evaluation frameworks
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, customer insight techniques and data visualisation tools (such as SPSS)
- Strong numeracy, written and interpersonal skills
- Team player who is customer-focused, diligent and detail-oriented
