We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO specialist to join a global logistics company on a full time basis. Our client has a fantastic global reputation and is one of the leading names in their industry. They’re headquartered in Central London, where they’ve assembled a talented team who are hard at work delivering a major digital / IT transformation programme, which is impacting every area of the business. And with this programme now entering an important phase, they’re looking to add a PMO Support to the team.
This role reports into their PMO Lead and is about providing crucial support to ensure the successful delivery of projects, programmes and portfolios across the organisation. You’ll need a flexible and pragmatic approach, be comfortable managing stakeholders across all levels, and have at least 1 year’s experience working in an Azure DevOps environment, in which you utilised ADO tools to configure projects, create tasks and manage backlogs.
Essential Requirements:- 4+ years PMO experience.
- Previously used Azure DevOps tools to aid PMO activities.
- Experience across multiple industries / business types.
- Worked for a business that is undergoing an IT / Digital Transformation programme.
- Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and project control mechanisms.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills including planning and forecasting.
Whilst not essential, industry experience across logistics, shipping, transportation, oil & gas, telco or utilities will be considered favourably.
