We’ve partnered exclusively with an early-stage ClimateTech venture tackling one of the world’s most urgent conservation challenges. This is a true greenfield opportunity where your engineering will have tangible, global impact.
In this Data Engineer role, you will contribute across the full data stack from ingestion through to analytics, building and maintaining scalable pipelines across API, streaming, and batch processes. You will support the management of cloud infrastructure on AWS with a DevOps mindset, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and scaling. You’ll help shape how data powers core products, working across ingestion, transformation, and machine learning initiatives.
As a Data Engineer working closely with engineering and product teams, you will deliver data solutions for analytics, internal tools, and AI models, while establishing and maintaining best practices for data governance, security, and reliability.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years Data Engineer experience building and maintaining data pipelines and cloud-based systems.
- Practical experience using Fivetran or similar modern data integration tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Python (including PySpark), SQL, and dbt or an equivalent transformation framework.
- A solid grounding in cloud infrastructure, including AWS, CI/CD workflows, and general DevOps principles.
- Proven experience working with data warehouses such as PostgreSQL or comparable technologies.
- Exposure to event streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub) is an added advantage.
- A track record of developing scalable, efficient data systems in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
