Overview
This role: Data Analyst – Hybrid – Consultancy – Up to £55k DOE. UK-Based – Hybrid 1-2 days a week in the office. ASAP Start | SC Clearance or Eligibility Required. The position is with a consultancy delivering impactful digital transformation in the public sector. They are looking for a Data Analyst to join a multidisciplinary product team to help measure, track and optimise digital services used by millions.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and user-centred delivery—someone who can turn insights into outcomes and guide teams with clarity and evidence.
What You’ll Do
- Develop meaningful performance measurement frameworks (KPIs, OKRs, user need tracking)
- Work with delivery teams to shape how success is defined and measured at each product lifecycle stage
- Build insightful dashboards using Data Studio or similar tools to drive visibility and action
- Collaborate with stakeholders to test hypotheses, visualise data compellingly, and make evidence-based decisions
- Mentor junior team members, promote best practices, and uphold high data ethics and governance standards
What You’ll Bring
- Experience building and maintaining service performance dashboards
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, QlikView
- Strong scripting in SQL, Python, or R
- Ability to select the right data sources and interpret findings with clarity
- Strong storytelling with data – using the right visuals for the right audience
- A solid grasp of product development and how data fits across each phase
- Eligible for Security Clearance (must have 5+ years’ UK residency)
