Join a mission-led team transforming social care in the UK. The platform connects private care businesses and care workers, automates immigration compliance, and delivers a fresh onboarding experience. The goal is to solve complex regulatory challenges, support talent acquisition, and drive meaningful change in a sector ready for disruption.
This is the first product hire, joining with a mandate to deliver growth and shape the evolving product roadmap. Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and engineering team who have kept the platform moving. The role offers a fast track to CPO for those who excel and innovate. You need to have seen an early stage start-up from boot-strapped/series A to success and be ready to do the same again.
You will be building out a team but work as an individual contributor while you get your feet under the table. It’s a huge chance for someone who has dreamed of seeing a company grow and be part of the C-suite team who help the CEO do it.
What You’ll Do
- Own product discovery, definition, and delivery for a fast-growing care-job marketplace, HR/compliance tools, and onboarding flows.
- Work to create a product-led culture and growth mentality to head to the first round of funding and beyond.
- Engage with customers on both sides, uncover pain points, and translate compliance needs into simple, engaging workflows.
- Collaborate tightly with engineering, leveraging your expertise in platforms, integrations, and product-led growth.
- Prioritise and break high-level strategy into actionable sprints and story tickets using Scrum.
- Identify opportunities to upsell new platform features to existing clients and generate new revenue streams through innovative product enhancements and market intelligence.
- Leverage technical skills and data insight to understand client needs, user journeys, and the broader social care landscape, then turn data into creative, disruptive solutions.
- Thrive when direction changes rapidly; bring structure but remain flexible and responsive.
- Infuse every product decision with commercial thinking, targeting both short-term and long-term business value.
- Stay hands-on and collaborative: challenge and be challenged, always informed by insight.
- Ensure compliance and empathy: work with regulators, adapt to immigration changes, and put the people behind every product decision.
About You
- Motivated by purpose and real social impact.
- Strong blend of technical and commercial acumen—you can see the big picture and you deliver fast.
- Experience in two-sided marketplaces, job boards, compliance-heavy SaaS, or HR tech.
- Data-driven and inventive: you use data not just to report, but to create actionable value for users and the business.
- Effective at identifying upsell opportunities and driving new revenue streams from existing product features.
- Ambition for progression and excited by the Head of Product path.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and non-linear challenges.
- Great communicator with empathy for care workers and end-users.
- Not a process zealot but bring enough structure to help a young team deliver.
- Eager to disrupt, innovate, and solve the real problems of a traditional industry.
What’s on Offer
- Foundational product leadership in a high-growth team with a big mission.
- Direct impact on strategy, revenue generation, and sector innovation.
- Clear fast-track to Head of Product within six months.
- Up to 0.3% equity, competitive compensation, raise planned next year.
- Hybrid work.
- We need someone who can start at the very latest January 2026.
