Futureheads Recruitment | B Corp has partnered with a modern, vibrant start-up transforming the way global brands deepen their customer understanding through market research. This fast-growing, full-service agency delivers both quantitative and qualitative insights for leading names in gaming, finance, sportswear, and beyond. Their mission is to deliver meaningful, data-driven insights with a bold, unconventional approach.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a collaborative team of market research and business experts. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of complex research programmes — coordinating tasks across internal teams and external partners, and optimising operations to keep projects on track while upholding a modern culture within the team.

This is a chance to join a high-performing central project management function, working alongside senior leaders in research, product, and fieldwork management. You’ll provide both hands-on project management and strategic oversight, guiding projects from conception to completion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute project plans, budgets, timetables, and collaboration workshops.
  • Oversee project delivery, address obstacles, and ensure research milestones are achieved.
  • Act as the central point of contact for clients, presenting progress updates and escalating risks as needed.
  • Coordinate with a dedicated team including lead and junior researchers, other project managers, and specialists.
  • Guide and mentor newer team members on effective project pathways and critical processes.
  • Manage research fieldwork with panel providers and marketplace partners.
  • Lead team meetings, monitor progress, and help deliver case studies that showcase project outcomes.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Proven project management skills in a fast-paced market research or agency setting with quantitative and qualitative experience.
  • Strong project management fundamentals; familiarity with MS Project or Gantt chart software; experience with efficiency-focused tooling (not relying solely on Excel).
  • Good experience in fieldwork.
  • Ideally involvement in brand trackers and/or segmentation projects.
  • Comfortable managing multiple research projects with multidisciplinary stakeholders (including fieldwork).
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong client communication: able to interact with clients directly and manage relationships from start to finish—professional but personable.
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and mentor team members, supporting both experienced and newer staff.
  • Analytical, resourceful, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
  • Experience using tools like MS Excel; formal project management training (e.g. Prince II, Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a must.
  • Open to agency, research, or commercial backgrounds; energy and initiative are highly valued.
  • Availability to start within the next 2 weeks preferred.

Offer & Next Steps:

  • Team: Collaborate with senior product and research managers, including a hands-on project management cohort and dedicated leadership.
  • Location: UK-based, hybrid options available.
  • Process: Initial meetings with agency leadership and research directors; swift turnarounds expected.
