- Own communication with stakeholders, maintain progress tracking, and deliver on targets with minimal fuss.
- Listen empathetically to team members, turn feedback into practical delivery actions, and keep momentum strong.
- Adapt to ambiguity in a busy startup culture, supporting the team to hit deadlines and keep projects moving.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years experience in product management or delivery, ideally with B2B SaaS, bioinformatics, science, or technical teams. B2B SaaS experience will be prioritised.
- Hands-on backlog management, agile sprint delivery, Jira ticketing, and scrum master experience.
- Track record in working with UX and UI designers as well as technical engineering groups.
- Clear communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to gain trust and get teams working.
- Must have own Limited company (outside IR35).
- Immediate availability to start mid-September.
- Three-month contract with potential for extension (not guaranteed).
- Day rate: up to £420, based on experience and qualifications.
- Hybrid working (2-3 days per week on-site, rest remote).
- Exposure to scientific, data-driven tech, exciting projects, and fractional CPO mentorship.
- Supportive startup culture, opportunity for career contractors in delivery or scrum to step deeper into product management.
Ideal Candidate
Empathetic, proactive, and focused on helping teams succeed without disrupting pre-set plans. Loves delivery, shows maturity and flexibility, and knows how to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environments.
