Product Manager (Design-Led)

Shape the Future of How Expert Consultants Work

Our client is a globally respected advisory business operating at the intersection of complex problem-solving, data, and strategic decision-making. They're embarking on a major digital transformation programme focused on redefining how their teams work, collaborate, and deliver value through technology.

This is not a traditional product role.

This is an opportunity to help build a completely new way of working across a highly intelligent, security-conscious, and deeply analytical organisation.

Working alongside Product, Engineering, Data, and Business leaders, you'll help create the next generation of internal and client-facing tools that improve workflows, surface insights faster, reduce manual effort, and unlock the value of AI and automation across the business.

The Role:

You'll own products and tooling from discovery through to delivery, focusing on creating practical solutions that improve how people work every day.

The environment is highly collaborative but also highly challenging. Your users are some of the brightest experts in their field, people who ask difficult questions, value evidence over opinion, and operate in environments where trust, confidentiality, security, and accuracy matter.

Success in this role will come from your ability to understand complex processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and use product thinking, design, and prototyping to bring people on the journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle across internal platforms, workflow tooling, and client-facing digital products.
  • Partner closely with consultants, analysts, data specialists, and engineers to understand how work happens today and where technology can create meaningful improvements.
  • Identify inefficiencies, manual processes, and operational bottlenecks, then design solutions that improve productivity, quality, and scalability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across products, processes, and ways of working.
  • Use prototyping, mock-ups, and design-led discovery techniques to communicate ideas and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders.
  • Translate complex business challenges into intuitive digital experiences and workflows.
  • Build evidence-based product strategies informed by user research, analytics, experimentation, and business outcomes.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to prioritise delivery and ensure solutions remain user-centric.
  • Explore where AI, automation, and emerging technologies can genuinely improve outcomes rather than simply introducing technology for technology's sake.
  • Help create a culture of product thinking across the organisation.

About You

This role would suit a Product Manager who started their career in design, UX, or front-end product development and still enjoys using those skills today.

You understand that sometimes the fastest way to create alignment isn't a presentation deck, it's a prototype.

You'll likely bring:

  • Strong Product Management experience delivering products from concept through to launch and adoption.
  • A genuine design background with experience creating high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, user journeys, and product concepts.
  • Excellent front-end product instincts and an eye for user experience.
  • Strong discovery and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working within regulated, governance-heavy, or security-conscious environments.
  • A thoughtful and pragmatic approach to change management.
  • The ability to influence exceptionally bright stakeholders through evidence, insight, and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical capability and a data-led approach to decision making.
  • Experience improving internal systems, processes, workflows, or operational tooling.
  • Curiosity around AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience within consulting, professional services, financial services, legal, healthcare, government, or other regulated sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled product development.
  • Familiarity with tools such as n8n, AI workflow platforms, prototyping tools, and low-code automation.
  • Experience using AI-assisted design and product development workflows to accelerate discovery and stakeholder alignment.

Why Join?

Quite simply, this is one of those companies that people in the know talk about.

They've built a reputation for tackling some of the most interesting and complex challenges in their sector, attracting exceptionally bright people who are collaborative, humble, and genuinely focused on delivering impact rather than internal politics.

You'll be joining a business where:

  • You'll work alongside some of the smartest teams anywhere in the industry.
  • You'll help shape a major technology, product, and AI transformation from the ground up.
  • You'll solve genuinely interesting problems rather than optimise vanity metrics.
  • You'll have direct influence over how an entire organisation evolves its ways of working.
  • You'll be given the freedom to experiment, prototype, and build.
  • You'll operate in a low-ego environment where ideas win based on merit.
  • You'll help create the future operating model of a highly respected global business.

If you're a design-led Product Manager who loves solving complex problems, influencing smart stakeholders, and using technology to fundamentally improve how people work, we'd love to hear from you.
