A stand out role has become available for a Town Planning Director for an impressive town planning consultancy in Central London. The consultancy advises on planning issues, site promotion and planning appeals for residential, commercial and mixed use clients. They have an established London office which is further supported by a network of offices in the South-East of England. They are looking to further grow this presence and as such they are looking for someone to take the lead of their London operation.

Currently this is less than 10 staff but there is the business plan in place for this to increase considerably over time. The key factor in this will be you and your ability to grow the team. This will be done by developing new clients yourself but also by empowering an existing team of Associate Planners and Senior Planners to further develop their commercial skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the London operation of the consultancy.
  • Develop new clients and empower the existing team.
  • Demonstrate readiness to take on challenges in the medium term.
  • Manage and grow a team of planners.
Qualifications

You will be a chartered planner with significant London consultancy experience. You may be at Associate Director/Senior Associate level or already a London Planning Director.

  • Ambitious, charismatic, and engaging personality.
  • Confidence in ability to step up to the Head of London Planning position.
  • Strong commercial skills.
  • Experience in managing and developing teams.
Pay range and compensation package

In return for your hard work then on offer is an £100,000+ salary package, bonus, health care and all the usual benefits on offer. This is a London role and is only suitable for candidates that will be able to be in the London office 4 days a week.
