RN Shift Supervisor - Every Other Weekend

Salary Range: $40.50-$56.00/HR

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift.
• Assessing staffing and resident needs and directing care.
• Works predominantly with an adult geriatric population.
• Serves as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care.
• Supervises clinical aspects of nursing.
• Manages day to day operations of Nursing Department.
• Interfaces with others to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Seeks opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility.
• Must possess a current CPR license.
