Overview
At FutureCare the Restorative Aide works under the supervision of a licensed nurse, implementing treatment plans recommended by a licensed physical therapist. The Restorative Aide is responsible for implementing basic restorative care programs and rehabilitative programs.
Compensation
Competitive pay: $17.54-$25.00 per hour. Salary Disclosure Statement: The salary above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provides safe restorative care of the resident
- Performs documentation on flow sheets and other applicable forms of all restorative care activities.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment by keeping work area clean and disposing of soiled, contaminated items.
- Reports malfunctioning, broken or hazardous equipment or conditions to supervisor or safety officer.
- Observes policies and procedures as demonstrated through performance of procedures and tasks.

- Splint Program
- Dining Program
- High Steppers (ambulation) Program
- LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program
- Reach (range of motion) Program
- Observes residentβs condition and reports changes to supervisor
- Provides one-on-one training
Qualifications
- Graduate of state approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant Program certified by Maryland Registry
