Competitive Pay: $15.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Answer call lights and relay messages to Charge Nurse/GNA as appropriate
- Return carts to dietary department at mealtimes
- Fill water pitches
- Hand out trays at mealtimes
- Assist with diversional activities
- Clean diet kitchen including refrigerator
- Straighten utility rooms
- Clean oxygen concentrators, feeding pumps, and IV poles as needed
- Straighten closets and bedside tables as needed
- Move resident items when room changes are made
- Clean wheelchairs as needed
- Set up trays for residents who feed themselves
- Make resident beds
- Practice infection control and standard precaution techniques as consistent with FutureCare’s policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Full‑time work schedule on the 3 pm‑11 pm shift with a shift differential and a pay increase
- Career Growth Ladder available after obtaining the GNA license, enabling further certifications as CMA, LPN, or RN
- Ability to comply with the assigned schedule and adhere to daily assignments
- Must have a neat appearance in appropriate uniform and a name tag worn at all times
- Professional, courteous, and tactful interaction with nursing staff, residents, and family members
- Must be available to work when scheduled, including one weekend day
- Must successfully complete a 90‑day probationary period
