Site Supervisor

Job Opportunity: Site Supervisor – Water Infrastructure Projects Based in Cornwall | £20– £27 per hour (PAYE) | ASAP Start – October 2025 Futurebuild Recruitment are actively recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor with a solid background in utilities or water infrastructure on a freelance basis. We’re looking for a proactive and safety-conscious professional to manage delivering essential upgrades to the South West Water mains network. The Role As a Site Supervisor, you’ll oversee multiple sites (6–7 at any one time). * Ensuring health & safety compliance across all sites * Managing subcontractors and supply chain teams (2–3 crews) * Conducting audits and quality checks * Procuring materials, plant, and equipment * Supporting streetworks permit applications * Planning and overseeing installation of water meters, bypass pipeworks, and network upgrades What You’ll Need Essential: * White CSCS or EUSR card * SSSTS or SMSTS qualification * Water Hygiene card * 6 months+ experience in the water industry * 6 months – 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role * Solid understanding of water infrastructure, materials, and health & safety practices * Full driving licence and own vehicle Beneficial: * NRSWA Supervisor card * Asbestos Awareness certification * Knowledge of local geography (Cornwall/South West) Details * Monday to Friday, 45 hours/week * Full-time, on-site role If you\’re a Site Supervisor who\’s looking for your next freelance opportunity we encourage you to apply
