Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering Location: Skye, Scotland Position: Senior Project Manager The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure works on a large-scale power infrastructure project. The role will involve managing civil works, access roads and associated infrastructure, while coordinating closely with teams delivering overhead line and underground cabling works. Key Responsibilities * Lead the safe and efficient delivery of civil engineering and access road works. * Manage project programmes, construction methodologies, RAMS, ITPs and project controls. * Coordinate design, procurement, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials. * Lead and mentor project and construction teams. * Monitor progress, productivity, costs and resources against agreed targets. * Identify and manage project risks, delays and potential changes. * Ensure works meet required quality, health, safety and environmental standards. * Maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress reports. * Work closely with the client, designers, subcontractors and wider project team. * Support commercial and contractual management, including change and risk control. Candidate Requirements * 10+ years' experience in civil engineering and infrastructure. * Experience delivering major infrastructure or linear projects. * Relevant ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. * Strong knowledge of construction delivery, RAMS, ITPs and project programmes. * Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams. * Strong commercial and contractual awareness. * Valid Manager-level CSCS card. * Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. * Professional membership would be advantageous but is not essential
