Role Overview

As a Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and delivering multiple refurbishment and construction projects from inception through to completion. You’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, commercial performance and client satisfaction across all contract activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of contract delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on quality and within budget
  • Lead contract administration, risk management, programme control and reporting
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary teams including subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Ensure compliance with commercial, legal, health & safety and quality standards
  • Review and authorise valuations, change orders, forecasts and final accounts

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within main contracting/refurbishment environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract administration skills
  • Excellent people-management and negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of CDM, NEC/JCT or equivalent contract frameworks
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and maintain accurate reporting under pressure
