Our client is expanding in the South West and opening a new office in the area with multiple secured frameworks and upcoming schemes across Devon, Cornwall and Exeter. We are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager for a major bridge replacement project in Devon. This is the first major scheme for the region, so a great opportunity to lead from start to finish.
The scheme involves the full replacement of an existing bridge over a River, which has reached end of life and presents safety risks for large vehicles. Works include:
- 40m span bridge construction
- Demolition and replacement of existing structure
- New carriageways and additional lanes
- Raised embankment works due to floodplain
- Bank cut and road widening on opposing side
- Associated works to local landowners
- Significant piling scope (sheet & CFA)
Key Requirements
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Proven experience delivering bridge/highways schemes
- Strong knowledge of sheet piling and CFA piling
- Experience with bulk earthworks and infrastructure projects
- Ability to support pre-construction planning and site mobilisation
- Relevant SMSTS / CSCS and project delivery credentials
