Futurebuild Recruitment are currently recruiting for a well-established, privately owned main contractor based in Hertfordshire. Specialising in both new build and refurbishment projects, the company has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability across the construction sector. With a positive and collaborative culture, they are experiencing a period of significant growth and are looking to expand their team.
About the Role:
Due to a high volume of tenders, the company is seeking both a Bid Writer and a Senior Bid Writer to join their growing pre-construction team. These roles will play a key part in the preparation of compelling, high-quality bid submissions that reflect the company's values and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions.
- Work closely with technical teams, directors, and subject matter experts to gather input and ensure submissions are accurate and persuasive.
- Manage and meet deadlines for multiple bids simultaneously.
- Support the bid management process from start to finish (Senior level to take more leadership responsibilities).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Bid Writing role (ideally within the construction sector but open to other industries).
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
