Future Publishing are seeking to hire a Technology Evangelist, who will serve as the internal champion for our technology platforms—effectively acting as a strategic marketer for in-house solutions. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will bridge the knowledge gap around our proprietary tech stack, which includes SCV, Kiosq, Arcade, and Hawk. You will translate complex engineering concepts into clear narratives for non-technical audiences. Your mission is to guide understanding, adoption, and Return on Investment by providing the strategic "big picture" context that tools and documentation alone cannot deliver.
In this role, you will create and own a centralised "single source of truth" for our platforms, tailored specifically to non-technical stakeholders. You will author accessible guides and real-world use cases, bring our tools to life through demos, workshops, and training sessions, and translate complex architectures into clear benefits. You will also curate engaging internal communications—such as a "What’s New in Tech" newsletter—to spotlight new capabilities and successes.
You will be an important bridge between Business, Product, and Engineering, aligning teams and making them work from the same strategy. As an advocate for our in-house "build" strategy, you will develop a clear, balanced narrative around our proprietary solutions, supporting informed build-vs-buy decisions through both advocacy and constructive critique. You will proactively evangelise our platforms, gather feedback from users, and close the loop with development teams, thereby helping to fully understand, widely adopt, and continuously improve our technology.
Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve
- Experience in Internal Solutions Marketing or a similar role focused on promoting technology capabilities
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people as needed, acting as a translator between engineering and business
- Technical Writing: Proven ability to create accessible documentation, guides, and newsletters that turn passive data into active strategy
- Presentation Skills: Experience conducting workshops, demo days, or training sessions to drive adoption
- Tech Stack Awareness: A willingness to learn and deeply understand our proprietary stack (Hawk, Vanilla, SCV, Advisor, Kiosq, Arcade)
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to understand and articulate the "why" behind "Build vs. Buy" decisions and the strategic value of our platforms
- Proactivity: You do not wait for questions; you act as a tour guide who actively connects business goals to technical capabilities
What’s in it for you
The expected range for this role is £50,000- £60,000. This is a Hybrid role from either our Bath or London Paddington Office. Plus more great perks, which include:
- Uncapped leave, because we trust you to manage your workload and time
- When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus
- Refer a friend and get rewarded when they join Future
- Well-being support with access to our Colleague Assistant Programmes
- Opportunity to purchase shares in Future, with our Share Incentive Plan
