What Hi-Fi? is the world\’s leading hi-fi and home cinema buying guide. We deliver expert, impartial news, reviews, features and advice across a huge range of audio and video products, including TVs, speakers, turntables and headphones.

What you\’ll be doing

We need a skilled and driven digital journalist who has an interest in consumer technology and knows how to create great content that helps people make important buying decisions.

The Staff Writer will be responsible for writing news, features and opinions on hi-fi, audio, TV and home cinema products, giving expert buying advice to millions of readers around the world. They will also be responsible for maintaining Buying Guides, sending newsletters and ensuring successful coverage of critical shopping events, such as Black Friday.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time-management skills, a talent for writing sharp, quality content, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambitious and collaborative environment.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • You must be enthusiastic about hi-fi, TV and AV products and have a love of all things home entertainment
  • Knowledge of the consumer technology market
  • Can explain complex subjects in a clear and entertaining way
  • Experience with SEO and e-commerce
