We are looking for a creative Social Media Editor to join the Wallpaper* digital team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the social media strategy for the world\’s leading design publication, playing an important role in expanding our reach, increasing engagement, and driving traffic to Wallpaper\’s digital platforms.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director of Digital Content and working closely with our Head of Video, the Social Media Editor will manage Wallpaper\’s social media presence across all platforms, creating engaging content, and leveraging analytics to optimise performance.

Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Wallpaper\’s editorial values and goalsCreate compelling posts, stories, and multimedia content tailored to the unique audiences of each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)Report on social media performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other analytics platforms. Use insights to inform strategy and content developmentStay ahead of new social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours, proposing new opportunities to grow Wallpaper \’s digital presence.Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve

Experience managing social media platforms for a luxury or design brandThe ability to edit video and create visual assets using Photoshop or equivalent toolsA great way with words – the ability to write engaging captions and headlinesA flair for creating visually stunning and engaging posts that resonate with Wallpaper\’s audienceProficient in using analytics tools to track performance and inform decisionsExperience with major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practicesUnderstanding of Wallpaper\’s unique brand values and target audience, with the ability to translate these into social-first contentUnderstanding of social SEO and its role in growing organic reach and engagementWhat\’s In It For You

The expected range for this role is Β£27,500 – Β£33,000.
