Wallpaper* is the world's number one global design destination, championing the best in architecture, interiors, fashion, art and contemporary lifestyle. We're looking for a Senior Designer to join the Wallpaper* magazine creative team.
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with the editorial team under the Art Editor's direction, designing and developing pages, and assisting with other aspects of the magazine's production each month.
- You will have excellent design and typographic skills, an eye for detail and knowledge of print production techniques.
- You will also be well versed in Adobe Creative Suite applications, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- You’ll contribute to planning and development discussions, and be responsible for the quality of photography and retouching/colour correction whilst adhering to our production values and processes.
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in editorial and print design.
- Knowledge of typography and typographic craft is essential.
- Ability to manage your workload and the production of a publication or project.
- Superb attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Excellent self-discipline, communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work at pace with appropriate sector knowledge and authority.
