The Future Video & Social team develops, produces, and distributes video for Future’s market-leading brands across social platforms. You will report to the Executive Producer and support the Head of Development, working with Future brands in the creation of new social formats and video processes, with an emphasis on vertical-focused platforms. You will bring new, high-quality, original content to life - from ideation to delivery, providing creative expertise throughout the lifecycle of production. This includes writing shoot briefs and scripts, art direction, producing talent on location, and working across the edits, all the way through to creating high-impact thumbnails and packaging for the content. You will also work with the Video team and the wider business to monitor technological trends and developments and to pilot new tools, like the use of AI in video production.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, produce, and distribute video for Future’s market-leading brands across social platforms.
- Support the Head of Development in creating new social formats and video processes.
- Bring high-quality, original content to life from ideation to delivery.
- Provide creative expertise throughout the lifecycle of production.
- Write shoot briefs and scripts, manage art direction, and produce talent on location.
- Work across edits and create high-impact thumbnails and packaging for content.
- Monitor technological trends and pilot new tools in video production.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of how to optimise content across different social video platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok), with a focus on vertical-first platforms/content.
- Experience developing, designing, and setting visual identity for brands.
- Experience producing shoots on location and bringing video formats to life.
- Experience using backstage social analytics to understand content performance.
- Experience writing shoot briefs and edit scripts.
- Understanding of copyright across video platforms.
- Experience using Photoshop & Canva, producing designs high quality enough to publish online.
- Experience in edit production and project management in a production or creative agency, with knowledge of production processes from start to finish.
