At Future we are challenging our core supplier base to optimise cost without compromising on quality. This role will play a key part in categorising spend and executing cost-reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation and RFP support.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Analysis, this role plays a vital part in identifying efficiency opportunities across the group's contractual base. This project aims to optimise spend through detailed review and application of successfully established procurement processes. It involves managing large volumes of data from multiple sources and using that information to provide clear recommendations, while maintaining a strong focus on the financial impact of consolidation and negotiation.

  • Spend Analysis & Data Visualisation – Categorise all non-major business spend across departments to identify patterns and opportunities.
  • Contract Management & Tracking – Build and populate a centralised Supplier Contract Database, capturing end dates, notice periods, and auto-renewal clauses.
  • Supplier Rationalisation – Identify duplicate suppliers and develop a plan to consolidate volume with fewer, high-quality partners.
  • Sourcing & RFP Support – Support the Request for Proposal process for mid-tier categories and commercial negotiations.
